rmy Ball San Antonio committee held its regular meeting at the Drop Zone Bar and Cafe located at 1804 Carson St. San Antonio, TX. The committee meets every Wednesday at 0800 hrs. The “Ball” will be held at VFW Post 9186 located at the Veterans Blvd. by the Old Mission Outdoor Theater on June 9, 2012 and all veterans from all services are invited to attend.
In order to begin the process of planning, a BBQ fundraiser is being held at the Drop Zone patio area on March 2. The event will be catered by local veteran BBQ Chef Narcisco (Narci) Pulido. His tasty tender brisket is famous for great flavor and has provided his BBQ to the Chapter in passed picnic events. The committee would appreciate your support in the BBQ event so the Alamo Army Ball can take place this summer. Details are on the left side of this page.
About 10 briskets and 250 links of sausages will be available for a good showing of veterans along with all the required trimmings.
